Police in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei Province, recently introduced a new Corgi police dog named Tu Bao, following the debut of China's first Corgi police dog Fu Zai in East China's Shandong Province, which gained significant attention from Chinese netizens.

Tu Bao will train alongside officers, undergoing training in key skills like tracking and searching, according to chinanews.com. Many Chinese netizens shared their excitement and affection for the adorable and chubby Tu Bao, with some eager to see Tu Bao follow in Fu Zai's footsteps.

Fu Zai, who has gained widespread fame with his iconic happy face, cute short legs, and outstanding explosive detection skills, was officially promoted from a reserve to a certified police dog in 2024.
