A new seminar,MKS sports From Classroom to Exhibition Hall: A Multidimensional Perspective on Contemporary Chinese Art Teaching and Practice Seminar, was held on Thursday at the Phoenix Center. Curator Duan Shaofeng and artist Chen Xi gave keynote speeches on the exhibition Jumping into a Rabbit Hole: Chen Xi and Her Students, while curator Xiao Ge and artist Li Linlin gave speeches on the exhibition Echo: Dedicated to Alice.

A teacher at the Central Academy of Fine Arts for years, Chen Xi has gradually formed her own teaching methods and models. The new exhibition is based on the dialogue between teacher and students. It is intended to present Chen's identity as an educator in addition to her identity as an artist, while also showing the rich and diverse creative aspects of her students.

The Echo: Dedicated to Alice, an exhibition of Li Linlin's 2024 works, is hosted by Shao Yiyang, a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, with Xiao Ge and Jonas Stampe serving as curators.

Going from the classroom to the exhibition hall is not only a transformation of space, but also a flow of ideas and inspiration. In this process, knowledge is being transferred, ideas are colliding, and inspiration is bursting out. As guides, teachers teach students not only how to observe the world, but also how to express their inner feelings and views of the world through art. The seminar also explores various opinions and discussions from guests.
