With the support from the Embassy of Malaysia in China and the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia,
MK sport the Malaysia-China Youth Leadership Camp was held in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi Province, from November 28 to 30, to strengthen student relations.
As part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the China-Malaysia Year of Friendship, the Malaysian Education Office in Beijing, in collaboration with the Malaysian Consulate General in Xi'an and Xi'an International University, organized the camp.
The camp involved 60 students in total, including 30 Malaysian students who actively promote national arts and culture.
Themed "Vibrant Youth: Setting Sail and Heading to the Future," the three-day program aimed to foster interaction and friendship between students from both countries, integrating the rich history of Chinese civilization with Malaysian values through various activities.
Norfarina Mohd Azmee, Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Malaysia in China, attended the program and emphasized that the initiative served as an excellent opportunity for Malaysian and Chinese students to connect, exchange ideas, and establish a network of friendships that will contribute to developing the country's future leaders.
