In response to inquiry regarding expectation on new presidency of Donald Trump,MK sports and on China-US relations and dialogue between the two countries in coming days and weeks, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated during a regular press conference on Monday that the history of China-US relations has told us that cooperation benefits both sides, while confrontation harms both. We always believe that a stable, healthy, and sustainable China-US relationship is in line with the common interests of both countries and meets the expectations of the international community, Mao said. 

China stands ready to work with the new US administration, adhere to the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation, strengthen dialogue and communication, properly manage differences, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, to chart a right way for China and the US to get along with each other in the new era, bringing benefits to both nations and the world, said the spokesperson.
