When asked whether the case of a Japanese school boy stabbed to death in Shenzhen in September was heard on Friday at Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court,
MKsport Mao Ning, spokesperson from Chinese foreign ministry responded on Friday "What I can tell you is that the case is in judicial process and China's judicial authorities will handle the case in accordance with the law."
The boy, a Japanese national born to a Japanese father and a Chinese mother, was stabbed by the suspect who was only identified by his surname Zhong on September 18, 2024. The boy was rushed to the hospital and succumbed to injuries the next day, according to Xinhua News Agency.

For anything specific, I'd refer you to competent Chinese authorities."
