Dai Bing,MKsports China's former deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, has been appointed as Chinese Ambassador to South Korea, the latest information on the official website of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea shows.

In his written speech at Gimpo International Airport upon his arrival in South Korea, Dai stated that China and South Korea are neighboring countries with a long history of friendly exchanges. Over the past 32 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, with the joint efforts of both sides, exchanges and cooperation in various fields between China and South Korea have yielded fruitful results. The two countries have achieved mutual success, greatly benefiting their peoples and making significant contributions to regional and even global peace and prosperity, according to the official WeChat account of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea on Friday.
