A seminar for the film Chang'an,mk Xi'an was recently held in Beijing, attracting notable figures from the film and art sectors, as well as diplomatic representatives from Kazakhstan and Iran.

Co-produced by China and other countries, the movie depicts a love story between a Chinese man and a Kazakh woman while showcasing the cultural and people-to-people exchanges along the Belt and Road. The film hasn't been released to the public yet, but will be premiered in the coming months.

The seminar featured in-depth discussions on the film's thematic elements, narrative structure, and character development. Experts noted that Chang'an, Xi'an was praised for its unique perspective, particularly through the lens of a Kazakh woman, filling a niche in BRI-themed cinema. The film was recognized for its portrayal of traditional Chinese culture while appealing to international audiences, embodying both humanistic value and Chinese aesthetic spirit.

"The film we watched today is about the story between the people of our two countries. It will further deepen the cooperation and exchanges of our peoples," Abu-Talip Aimakhanov, counselor of Kazakhstan's embassy in Beijing, pointed out.
