The
MKsport Beijing Performing Arts Group held a talent forum in Beijing to put the spotlight on talent cultivation and art inheritance. The Chasing Light forum brought together artists, young talents and students to share their experience and views on the performing arts.
Zhong Chengxiang, a researcher and art critic, shared his understanding of the theme with his personal experience. "Each of us needs to be confident about the work that we are doing. Once we are sure that it is beneficial to society and the people, we need to work for it with all our effort," he said.
The Beijing Performing Arts Group also closed its performing arts season, which lasted for two months. According to Zhao Jiachen, the group's president, the season brings together nearly 100 performing talents from nine troupes under the group, and selects classic plays and new works from each troupe, covering a variety of art categories such as opera, folk music, folk art, puppet shows, acrobatics and children's dramas. A total of 17 performances were staged in seven theaters for over 30,000 audience members.
