When asked about Ukraine stating that it would propose its own ceasefire plan ahead of talks with US officials in Saudi Arabia,mk and what China expects from the US-Ukraine meeting, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Tuesday that China supports all efforts conducive to a peaceful resolution of the crisis. 

Mao added that China hopes that all parties can reach a fair, lasting, and acceptable solution, and China is also willing to continue working with the international community to play a constructive role in the political resolution of the crisis.

A Ukrainian delegation set to meet with US top diplomat in Saudi Arabia about ending the conflict with Russia will propose a ceasefire, Ukrainian officials said Monday, AP reported.
