The Embassy of Brazil in China launched Brazilian Beats 2at the China Film Archive, one of Beijing's most prestigious cinema venues, in an evening dedicated to celebrating Brazilian music and culture in Beijing on November 11.

The Brazilian Ambassador to China Marcos Galvao, and Kuaishou's Vice President Liu Zhen opened the session with speeches highlighting the importance of cultural exchanges between Brazil and China.

Brazilian Beats 2takes the audience on a journey through the rich diversity of Brazilian music, from samba to forró, bossa nova and funk, showing how these rhythms transcend borders.

The film was produced by the embassy in partnership with Titânio.

Brazilian music, literature, and films are gaining popularity in China. In April, Brazil was invited as the guest of honor at the Beijing International Film Festival, where Brazilian films were showcased to Chinese audiences.

Over the last half-century, China-Brazil relations have gained significant strategic importance and global influence. The overall strength of their relationship has become increasingly evident.

The year 2024 also marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
