Themk Embassy of France in China in partnership with Hugoeast and Youku, launched the fourth edition of Étoiles de Cannes on October 23. 

A selection of the best French and Chinese films from the Cannes Film Festival are set to be presented online on Youku and at the French Embassyin China to film fans. Renowned professionals in the field of cinema will participate in the discussions which will follow the screenings to discuss the future and the development of cinematographic art. 

The six films are France, Vous n'avez encore rien vu (You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet), Les Pires (The Worst Ones), Only the River Flows, Black Dog, and Certified Copy. 

France, directed by Bruno Dumont, tells the story of a famous French television journalist who, confronted with the contradictions between her professional life and her personal life, gradually takes the plunge. You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet tells the story of a group of actors invited to watch the video of a play in which they performed, which triggers a reflection on the intertwining of reality and theater; of memory and performance. Les Pires depicts the struggles and conflicts of adolescents growing up. Chinese director Wei Shujun's latest film Only the River Flows showcases the emotional struggles and identity issues.
