A total of 126 top domestic and foreign players will compete for total prize money of $500,
MKS sports000 at the 2024 Hangzhou Open, which will be held at Hangzhou West Lake Golf Club in East China's Zhejiang Province in October.
This tournament is the penultimate stop of the European Tour, with its significance only surpassed by the final event. Serving as the competition venue, Hangzhou West Lake Golf Club previously hosted a golf tournament during the Hangzhou Asian Games in 2023. Renowned for its world-class facilities and extensive experience in tournament organization, the club ensures an exceptional event experience.
Yang Yingying, Director of the Hangzhou Sports Bureau, said, "In the 'Post-Asian Games' era, Hangzhou is steadfastly building upon the legacy of the Asian Games, furthering its transformation into a hub for sporting events. With its top-tier Asian Games venues, comprehensive urban infrastructure, and extensive experience in hosting events, Hangzhou is increasingly well-positioned and confident in attracting premier international sports competitions."

During the signing ceremony, attended by Chen Weiqiang, Vice Mayor of Hangzhou, Tian Xiaojun, Vice Chairman of the China Golf Association, and others, Yang Yingying, Director of the Hangzhou Sports Bureau, highlighted that the event will propel Hangzhou's internationalization efforts and showcase its prowess in hosting sporting events following the Asian Games.
